April 14, 2024 turned out to be important for the city of Schwedt/Oder in Germany. This day was memorable not only for the residents of the city, but also for numerous guests from different countries. The main event was a solemn service to celebrate the founding of the new local church EFG Christ-Erlöser Gemeinde (Baptists).

The service brought together pastors from around the world with a variety of experience and wisdom.
Among them were Ilya Danilyuk from Rome, Italy, Gennady Gavrilov from Prague, Czech Republic, Alan Gross from Eberswalde, Germany, Igor Hrytsyk from the Czech Republic, and many other ministers and guests.
This event was not only a time of worship and prayer, but also a symbol of uniting different Christian communities in one goal – the glorification of God’s name.

The town of Schwedt/Oder, located in eastern Germany on the border with Poland, has become a place where a new spiritual community is being formed.
Brother Vladimir Atapin’s family had been working in and around this city for many years, spreading the Good News and serving their neighbors.
Their devotion and diligence have contributed to the planting of new churches, not only in Germany, but also in neighboring Poland.

The centerpiece of the service was the prayer of blessing for the new local church and the ordination of the church’s pastor, Vladimir Atapin. This was not only a sign of recognition of his ministry, but also the beginning of a new stage in the spiritual life of the city and its inhabitants.

On the same day a service was held in the town of Eberswalde at the German local church.
They celebrated the planting of a new church in the town of Schwedt/Oder and sent Brother Vladimir Atapin to this important ministry.
As a mother church, they blessed Brother Atapin and his family and, of course, prayed and supported the new ministry.
